This is a project I shot a while ago and have finally found the time to finish it, it’s titled The study of a scrunch.
I was messing around it the studio with some circular paper I’d found, scrunching it up I realise every scrunched up ball when undone was completely unique, like a fingerprint everyone a total original never to be repeated.
So hundreds of scrunched up paper balls later I selected and photographed the best ones. Here are the results
I was really pleased to be asked by Jessica Dance to collaborate with her on the fantastic paper drum for the 'drum roll' D&AD awards cover in this months Creative Review.
I've been working with Jess on a new personal series of work and it was great to work with her again on a commission look out for the new series to be shown soon.
I'm pleased to announce that this months double issue of monocle with my latest cover shot is available now. Also above is my cover shot for the travel top 50, and I shot there bumper christmas gift section. The cover shot is a paper craft medicine cabinet made by Japanese artist Makiko Azakami.
